DOOMED & STONED IN CANADA

I live in a small city of about 230,000 people in the middle the prairies of one of the largest land mass countries in the world, the great white north of Canada! I’ve always thought it was amusing back in the old grunge days of the 90’s when you would hear people talk about one of the reasons the Seattle scene was so dark, bleak, yet uplifting and amazing at the same time, was because it was so cold up around there, that there was nothing else to do but play music and take drugs (which is also why flannel became so popular)! Well, if that is the case, can you imagine how jawdropping and astounding the Canadian music scene must be?!

These people and bands inspire me and are the main reason I wanted Doomed & Stoned’s next mind-boggling compilation to represent a small tip of the iceberg of what is the stunning underground Canadian heavy music scene, with bands stretched
from one side of the country to the other and all in between, in a wide range of heavy rock, stoner rock, psychedelic rock, doom and sludge styles!
